Ken's father Bob Riddle drove race cars in the Ohio Valley area in the late 50's and early 60's taking Ken with him as a small child. Ken joined the military after high school and when he was discharged in 1975 went to a race and saw an old buddy driving. He joined his friend as a crewman and helped him for a season. The next season Ken wanted to try his hand at driving and bought his own car.

He started with street stock's but soon was racing semi-lates, late model and finally modified race cars. He builds all his own cars from scratch in his garage and has built cars for drivers in the area.
